Neil was raised in Walgett with the Yuwaalaraay people of the Gamilaraay Nation in North West NSW, he is a retired Aboriginal Resource Teacher and and now lives in Gloucester.
His prints, scratch works and wood burnings on display here are delicate and exquisite examples of fine indigenous art.
Gloucester writer and photographer Chris Russell’s photographs explore the vibrant colours of sun-drenched outback Australia. The images come from the outback’s peaceful, unnoticed worlds. Most involve water.
Peter Stevens carved and sculpted wood pieces are sensual and beautiful, decorative yet functional pod and leaf forms. Peter says he finds “Working with fine timber is like flying high over vast areas of land, or perusing Google Earth, gauging landscape health and vigour"
This is an exhibition not to be missed - until November 3rd.
