Jean migrated from Canada during the 70’s and after some years working in the computer industry devoted her time to her art, attending courses and workshops at the ANU, and Summer and Winter schools at Mitchell College in Bathurst. Also being privileged to study with many renowned Australian Artists during her years in Sydney and Canberra. Jean has exhibited in mixed and solo Exhibitions in Woolloomooloo, Balmain, North Shore, Mudgee and Country NSW. Also having a solo exhibition at Double T Gallery in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada in early 2000’s.
Moving to beautiful Gloucester in 2005.
Jean joined the Gloucester Artists prior to moving here and has been part of the
Gloucester Gallery exhibitions since, either solo or with her late friend Jean Spokes after spending time together in France painting.
She works in many mediums, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen and ink and watercolour.
Painting plein air when the weather permits, and accepts commissions for pet
portraits, landscapes and personal portraits.
